The Ancient Greeks used wild yarrow 3000 years ago. It's certainly a therapeutic herb that's been used for centuries. To prepare a cup of aromatic wild yarrow tisane, add a small quantity of dried herb to boiling water, and steep for ten minutes. Wild yarrow tisane is deliciously bitter in taste. Wild yarrow is known to be an anti-inflammatory herb. It is calming and reduces fever, alleviates pain and PMS, regulates menstrual cycles, assists with allergic reactions, and aids in restful sleep.
Wild yarrow is rich in flavonoids and Vitamin C.
