Our beautiful and delicious meadow mushrooms are wild-harvested. Their aroma and flavor are out of this world. Meadow mushrooms may well be the most widely picked and known mushroom species in North America.
Meadow mushrooms are excellent and versatile in cooking. Eaten raw or cooked, meadow mushrooms can be breaded and fried, simply sautéed, or marvelously canned. They add a lot of flavor to soups and they are a great topping on pizza or in quiche.
We wild-harvest our meadow mushrooms from June through September in northern Saskatchewan. We offer them fresh when in season.
