Quail meat is lean and simply delectable. It can be cooked in many different ways, stuffed, fried, grilled, sauteed with crabapples, endless possibilities. Quail meat is probably the best meat you can find, both for your health and your taste buds.
Every quail egg is a beautiful work of art. No two quail eggs are the same. The shell is speckled and pigmented, each egg in its own unique way. Quail eggs are not only beautiful but also delicious and healthy. They are tolerated by people with egg allergies. Quail eggs are rich in vitamins and minerals; they are bite-size and beautiful on platters, in salads and stir-fry, and as garnish. They can be boiled, pickled, scrambled, deep-fried, used in baking and for many more gourmet treats.
We raise our own quails in large solar aviaries. They are happy little, chit-chattering creatures. They eat everything from greens to seeds and insects wild-harvested in our Forest Garden.
